3DMAX: players and coaches say the wages never caught up
On 27 Aug 2026, current and former 3DMAX names posted the same story in public: salaries at the org have been late for a long time, and it sat on the team.
HLTV collected the statements from Maka, former coach YouKnow, and current coach wasiNk. This is not a transfer rumor. It is staff and players talking about money that did not land on time.
What they said
Maka did not put a number on his own wage. He described a different kind of pressure than a final map on LAN:
Pressure has always been a privilege in competition, but this was a different type of pressure that not many can handle and battle through on a daily basis with the very hard scheduling that has CS2 lately. But we somehow kept fighting and performing.
He added that from last summer the group felt “consumed” and “too much in deep water,” even with the usual love for the game.
YouKnow, who coached the team, said money did arrive — just never for the month they were in:
Every payment was just to catch up on a month that was already overdue, never the current month. So the delay never got cleared up; it simply shifted. In the end, it’s as if those eight months as head coach, I did them without being paid.
wasiNk, the current coach, tied the books to the server. If you do not perform, you do not get paid, and you cannot clear debts. He said that load explains collapses in matches that were already tight.
The wider noise
The 3DMAX posts landed in the same week as other orgs in the same conversation (Passion UA, Monte). Separate reporting has repeated a €1.5M debt figure around 3DMAX. That number is an allegation. It is not a figure 3DMAX has confirmed in the HLTV piece, so it does not sit in the headline here.
What is missing
A clean club statement with dates and amounts. Until that exists, the public record is the three posts and the HLTV write-up.
If 3DMAX replies, this article gets an update. No invented quote.
