Knives Reset. Coverts Did Not Go Back

Five Covert skins into a knife or gloves broke the old scarcity model. Knife and glove prices got cut hard. Covert “raw material” repriced up. That split did not fully unwind.

What it means
You are not trading 2024 knife math. Supply can be created. The items that still hold a premium are the ones trade-up cannot clone: rare patterns, elite floats, old stickers, locked supply outliers.

If the listing is “Karambit Doppler” and nothing else, you are buying a commodity. If it is a specific phase, float or craft, price the extra. Do not pay craft tax on a mid craft.
